I've been using Freshdesk for more than three years and I'm still very happy with it. Even the free version was decent when we used it. Moving to the basic paid plan made a big difference and gave us a system I really enjoy using.

Nice app, pretty close to Zendesk, affordable too. Compatible with our AD authentication. Lacks the ability to download database backups to store locally (our policy requires this). They only offer text export, no attachments or images included :(
